ENGL 422 - Major Novels
ENGL 460 - Literary Interpretation
ENGL 470 - Special Topics in English
ENGL Electives: 9 credit hours (cannot be used to meet general education requirements). ** Other courses which can be used for these elective hours include COMM Courses 175, 270, 271, 272, and 345.

Writing Concentration: 18 credit hours

Choose one of the following for: 3 credit hours

ENGL 360 - Creative Writing
BSAD 260 - Business Communications
Take the course not used to meet the English major core requirement.

Choose three of the following: 9 credit hours

Total Major Requirements: 40 credit hours
