General Education Requirements

Eight credit hours in a single foreign language is required for the Bachelor of Arts degree.

Major Requirements: 22 credit hours

Choose One Area of Concentration (Required):

Literature Concentration: 18 credit hours

Choose nine credit hours from the following:

Courses selected may not be used to satisfy General Education requirements.

Writing Concentration: 18 credit hours

Choose one of the following:

ENGL 360 - Creative Writing
BADM 220 - Business Communications
(Must take the course not used to meet the English major core requirement.)

Choose three of the following:

ENGL 347 - The MEWS
ENGL 271 - Editing
ENGL 356 - Digital Humanities
Any 400-level ENGL courses (3 credit hours each).

Total Major Requirements: 40 credit hours
