To complete the International Business degree, a student must demonstrate 2nd year proficiency in two languages - one of which must be English. Students coming to Friends university from a U.S. high school are considered to be English speaking. Students coming to Friends University from a country other than the U.S. are considered to be English speaking if their high school was conducted in English (i.e. an International High School accredited in the United States). If their high school was conducted in a different language, they are considered to be a speaker of that language.
